Vera's powerful interpretations and clear sound were shaped in her early years as a student at the Rotterdam Music school in the Netherlands and four years with guitarist/composer J.A. van Hoek who encouraged her to attend the Royal Concervatorium in Madrid, Spain as a guitar major.

During the summer courses by renowned maestros E. Pujol and S. de la Maza along with exposure to flamenco imprinted the technique required to play the vibrant music of Spain.

Her NYC debut at the Henry Miller Theater in 1976, followed by naturalization into the USA as a Hudson valley artist, allowed a grant performing at historical sites as well as collaborations with quartets or ensembles/duos like: violin, vibraphone, and flute.

Branching out to concert Flamenco in NY as a pupil of D.Koster and more right hand dexterity led to a closer study of Jazz in the style of L.Almeida; an international repertoire compliments her many travels with a warm atmosphere for your special occasion.

I am delighted to provide you with a versatile song list for up-scale events and ceremonies for up to 3 hrs.
